Scalora's Veggie Cheese Ball
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup finely diced green bell peppers
- 1/2 cup finely diced red bell peppers
- 1/2 cup coarsely grated or shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced green onions
- 1/4 cup finely diced yellow or white onion or 2 Tbsp dry onion flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Mrs Dash, Lawry's or other seasoning mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Amounts are approximate. You can omit a few of the vegetable ingredients
if you do not have them on hand. Warm cream cheese until it is soft
enough to mix with a strong spoon or potato masher by either leaving it
out of the fridge for a few hours or warming in the microwave. Mix
everything except sliced almonds in a bowl. Form into
a ball shape and roll in sliced almonds. Great for crackers or bagels.
